I've played skyrim VR and it makes me wanna puke , games where you stand and move a bit like Beat Saber are fine. How do you guys feel about movement in VR? Which games do it best? jc321 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 I find it difficult to avoid feeling sick with a number of games where you move but it's a gradual process I guess to combat it. Strangely enough I can actually play Skyrim VR quite well with proper movement (ie: not teleports) and only get motion sickness if I get the spinning bug. FO4 can survive for a bit but find that makes me feel sick quicker. I guess it's finding the balance between a good resolution and frame rate I find having a fan blowing on you actually helps.
dulty Posted August 18, 2024 Posted August 18, 2024 Definitely prefer normal movement. Doesn't matter what the game is, the teleport move is more likely to make me feel disoriented than any kind of regular movement. That said, I seem to have pretty good VR legs so... 1
