Help w crash log please

Quite curious that the callstack is gone, and that RIP was out in the middle of nowhere. A code cave perhaps? But that doesn't explain the callstack; perhaps it was omitted because of a stack unwind error. Doing a bit of guesswork manual unwinding here suggests it starts at RSP+348. At RSP+1A8 it passed through EngineFixes.dll but that's quite far from where the error occured.

BSGeometryListCullingProcess I would assume has something to do with render optimization, but that's far too vague.

Only real hint I can see here is to get a pdb file for EngineFixes.dll and see what 00164B9 is doing. I suspect its going to be some generic render loop hook however, and the Nexus page does not seem to contain the pdb so one would have to build the source code to get it. Not sure this is worth pursuing at this point.

So, options? Poke and prod it, try to get it to crash somewhere else.

It's hard to make heads or tails of that report.

What were the circumstances of the crash? Was it a CTD? Did it occur during gameplay? Or did it crash upon loading a save?

It was a CTD while playing.

So this log also brings up the BSGeometryListCullingProcess. So something is happening upon either rendering a mesh or unrendering it. Which honestly does not mean a whole lot.

Since it happens during gameplay, do you know how to replicate it? Is it a certain area of the map? Or when you enter a cave/building? Does it occur during an autosave?

Both times were outside, out of combat.  One time a couple wenches from Immersive Wenches were moving through Helgen as I was passing them... the other was just on the road but I forget where.  I will be sure to pay attention if it crashes again.

At least it is consistent, that's actually a good thing. There is one hint here then, which is this: BSParticleShaderProperty. If you really want to find the culprit of this right now, do a search with Notepad++ (or a similar tool) in all nif files in all mods for "BSParticleShaderProperty". It most likely won't search within BSA files (Edit: if you were to include them), so if you have a lot of those you'd have to extract them somewhere first and do another search through those.

So, unsure what to do with this now because there are a lot of results...

Turns out BSParticleShaderProperty is not actually a ninode type, at least not according to nifskope.

Refering to NiRTTI.h from SKSE sources:

Spoiler
 ...
 *			NiProperty
 *				NiAlphaProperty
 *				NiShadeProperty
 *					BSShaderProperty
 *						BSLightingShaderProperty
 *						BSGrassShaderProperty
 *						BSEffectShaderProperty
 *						BSWaterShaderProperty
 *						BSBloodSplatterShaderProperty
 *						BSParticleShaderProperty
 *						BSSkyShaderProperty
 *						BSDistantTreeShaderProperty
 ...

Most of those listed there are nodes found in nifs, just not the one we were interested in here and 2 others.

I'm out of ideas.

Related? Doubt it. Same crash? Definitely not.

That latest one was caused by the NIF of 0x00099492 "Bandit", reference id 0xFF001FFC. Last edited by 3DNPC.esp. That is assuming the stack is valid. Considering the exception offset and the missing callstack I'd say there's no way to tell, something went horribly wrong there.
