IMPORTANT Note on downloads:

For Skyrim Special Edition (1.6.1170, aka AE) use SexLabFrameworkAE_v166b.7z

Is this the version i'm meant to be using or not because it doesn't work. I tried every other version just to make sure i didn't get the wrong one and none of them work.

That's the correct version.  I'm running 1.6.1170 with that version plus about 100 LoversLab mods and about 550 Nexus mods with barely a hiccup.

Did you install all the requirements for the Framework?  Like SKSE, and Address Library, and SkyUI, and make sure they were the correct versions for 1170?

A lot of problems come down to installing the wrong versions of core mods.

im having a similar issue i have everything up to date and fnis is reading everything and no warnings but when i run it says missing dll's for papyrus and sl util but when i check everything is there using vortex over mo2 if that matters and yes im using the ae files for the newest 1.6.1170.0

Yeah you both likely messed up something with the prereqs or (less likely) the load order. Start over from scratch, take your time and install prereqs first.

I found MO2 to be more reliable than vortex, but even Vortex should bee able to handle basic sexlab no problem.

i have to test it but out but im not getting the error anymore by having loot redo the load order but now matchmaker isnt working but thats the least of my problems XD i guess having sl frame work be in the middle was my problem ill update shortly once i test it
