Thunderchild mod and shout replacer

I recently downloaded "Thunderchild - Epic Shouts and Immersion" (Nexus link). I also have a replacer for shouts and various other sounds that I created a long time ago from sound files. My replacer is very simple, it only consists of loose .fuz-files in a .zip-file. It has replacement sounds for the female voice, running and shouts for ... immersion reasons. 🙄

My problem is that Thunderchild uses the vanilla shout sounds. I thought it'd use my modded sounds. So I was thinking, could I replace my loose files with a .esl and load it after Thunderchild? I'm asking if someone may know because then I'd need to learn how to do that and I assume it's not gonna be easy. Or could I somehow place my sounds in the Thunderchild mod? I just have a hard time stomaching the vanilla shouts where an angry woman shouts angrily.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place. I just thought that someone here probably has used Thunderchild with a shout sound replacer and might know how to make them work together. Thanks for reading. :)

I don't see why you couldn't do it the same way you replaced the vanilla sounds. The only issue I can think of here is to match up your Fuz with the Fuz from Thunderchild, considering the file names won't give it away, nor will the shout record name. 2 options for that:

  1. Preview the Thunderchild sounds in the CK so that you can match them 1:1 with your replacements.
  2. Find a fuz player and/or converter and get something more usable out of them like xwm or wav. Preview the sounds in your favorite media player.

Hey, thanks once again for the help. I'll see if I can't get the ole CK up and running. Now I have an idea of where to start. :)

Sidenote: Since I've gotten such excellent help here, I checked some threads to try and help out and give something back. But I couldn't find anything that I knew a whole lot about ... I'll check back later and see if there's anything I might be able to help with. Have a nice day.
