Riot445 Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 (edited) Whenever I start a new game, my MO2 tries to disable mods automatically, asking if I want to keep the changes made. When I hit no and load back in, verifying that both the mod and the .esp were enabled, the mcm doesn't appear and it tries to automatically disable again. This is happening for 6-7 mods I have, what could be causing it? I'm on 1.6.1170. Some examples are bimbos of skyrim, yps, devious training, and a few others. Edited August 5, 2024 by Riot445

Go to your MO2 folder, backup manually your mod, profiles, and whatever else you want to save folders. If MO2 is the windows installer version, uninstall it and then reinstall. DO NOT FORM A PROFILE OR ANYTHING. Then copy all your files back over into the install folder overwriting everything. Standalone version is best for this, installer sometimes causes problems of it's own. Highly recommend doing a secure file transfer, Win Explorer is trash at manipulating large amounts of small files without choking and your files disappearing into the nether where they are gone forever. FastCopy is imo the best for secure copy function, and it's safe, costing nothing. You can find it here: https://fastcopy.jp/ How do I back up my mods manually? I only have one profile so I'm not too worried about that. My modlist is built off a texture-based wabbajack, so I have that mo2 and the base mo2. Should I still uninstall the base mo2 as well?
