This is not due to my mod, it is a general modding issue. You do not have the proper media files installed, you most likely only have the patch instead of the full download. Ask the XCL discord for help.

How do I know the mod is working? Where's that setting to change the black male frequency? It seems I've installed it but I'm not noticing anything different ingame.

 

Edit: nvm, just found the modded .html.

So, the next update is actually almost ready! I decided to try to move a things into the next update, rather than tackle them one at a time,  but it's kind of left the code a mess...  There's a few things left for me to wrap up, like adding some beach guys (since there's new random guys for the beach stuff), and I'm going to take a stab at adding the blacked outfits into the game. I'll be off for two weeks for vacation, so I will be able to resume work after that. It's probably looking like sometime around the middle-ish of December before I'll be ready.

No worries. I've been giving a couple updates every week in the discord. Would highly recommend you join the XCL discord, I completely forget LL forums exist until I randomly pull up LL and see the notification.

 

I'm waiting to release the update until after 0.21.4 comes out. I have some really exciting things in here but they're reliant of code changes/features in 0.21.4 and it isn't out yet.  It is currently in playtest though, so I imagine it won't be that much longer before Aphrodite is ready to release.

I apologize, but I'm confused here. I can't find the thread in the discord. I tried searching for the message and couldn't find it either. Did something happen to it?

It is under the modding section. There a forum thread for it. You may need the "member" role (you just have to react to the rules to get the role)

hey there love the mod just downloaded your latest update and not sure if its me with the load order or if its the mod but thought i would make you aware just in case. when i go to the bar as a guy and speak to a bargirl ive tried with modded bar girls and the base game ones same outcome as soon as i click on introduce myself or pickup line the middle part of the screen disappears so the images and dialogue choices/results are all gone and i can no longer click on anything as there is nothing to click. breaks the game for me as i said not sure if its the mod or not or a fault on my end sorry if its me and not the mod.  correction only does this when i choose the introduce myself so can get around it for now

Sell Insta-Strip at work and choose demo. Option to talk to Dredd should appear at the bar. That unlocks the "party" with Maurice. After that, the option to call Maurice should also appear at the bar.

Not sure what to tell you. Introduction works just fine for me. It could be a conflict with another mod?

I run into the same issue.  Can replicate it every time on Version 21.5 of X-Change and 0.4.0 of Blacked

 

I am doing the following:

1). Start New Game as an added character(Kayley, Alexa, Lauren, Lily,etc.)

2). Skip intro and set starting masc at 100

3). Going to the bar on the first day and speak to any Bar Girl

4). Selecting the button "Introduce Yourself" leads to the game hanging, all the other dialogue options work as intended. 

 

Dialogue choices work normally for base game player characters.

 

The only Mods loaded are the BLACKED, BLACKED-Media, and the additional player character mod being tested.  After disabling Blacked, "Introduce yourself" works for modded characters.

Ah gotcha, yeah I didn't try with modded characters. Good catch.  Someone on discord just pointed this out too, I'm checking into it.

Absolutely love the new update!  Everything I could hope for and then some. 

I have found one minor mod incompatibility, though it might be just as much on the creator of that mod to fix it on their end.  Raivoasdf's Quick time cheat mod will softlock the game if you get the queen of spades status effect.  When you get angry turning down a white guy the next button wont show up, and instead the magnifying glass that shows your current goal does, at least for Bruce.  I didn't even have the quicktime cheats turned on in the settings since I didn't want my save file getting flagged for cheating, but just having it enabled in the modloader will cause issues.  

 

 

I was also wondering, is there a console command or cheat you can use to get the bbc addiction/queen of spades status effect without going through the normal process of getting them?  I'm sure there's a console command, but I can't figure it out even after skimming through the twee files with notepad.

Thanks for the report. Someone in the discord reported a pretty similar issue, I'm checking to see if they're also using this mod you mentioned. Thanks for doing research on that. I'll check into it and see if there's some kind of an overlap. Appreciate it!

Did you get an achievement when this happened or just the QoS buff?

I'm pretty sure I didn't get an achievement.  I had literally just gotten the QoS buff for the first time from completing the new Kendra story content, and had it going into the bar.  Getting angry at Bruce was just refreshing the effect I think.  I should have exported the save file I was using to send to you, but instead I saved over it, sorry about that.

Gotcha. Okay I should get the chance to work on this a little bit tomorrow. I'm not 100% sure what is causing it but between your report and the one in discord, I should be able to come up with something
