GUIDE:

1. extract both archives (uabea-windows.zip & DaisyIsGreat.rar) and start UABE Avalonia (UABEAvalonia.exe)

2. File > Load Package (or just Ctrl+P)

3. select DaisyIsGreat.emip

4. select base folder (C:\Games\DAISY THE SWIMMER or wherever you have it installed)

5. double-click both asset files (there should be (Selected) near them)

6. make sure the path is right, backup is recommended and then click Ok

7. File > Save (or just Crtl+S)

8. close both windows (Assets Info & UABEA) and start the game

Worked for me as well.  Thank you.

But it looks like an update done today on Steam has disabled the mod.  After the update, I did run through the mod update process again and it did not work.  I did keep a backup copy of the original pre-update folder, but it's pain to deal with avoiding updates.  

Hopefully someone can verify it's not just me, but going back to the pre-update files and running in offline mode got the mod working again.

Hate to ask, but any chance for a mod update (if it is indeed the update that caused this)

I think I could undress some of them (definitely not the chef). Post a screenshot and I might try to find them when I have time.

The mod itself should have worked on any version of the game. What happened?

1. the swimsuit stayed on -> developer probably changed the name of the mesh (fixable if you upload somewhere the new "sharedassets1.assets" file since i'm not updating the game)

2. the game didn't start -> probably new unity version incompatible with UABEAvalonia (we need to wait for the new version of UABEA)

Cool. I hope you'll still be there in 2 weeks or so. I have to finish AC Valhalla before I can devote myself fully to Daisy.^^

Doe anyone have this working with the latest patch? I tried to patch the game but I don't think it's replacing the right files. Is there anyway to extract the files and do it manually?

Yes, it did replaced 2 wrong textures out of 3. And if Daisy isn't at least a barbie doll, it probably deleted the wrong meshes too. My mod installs itself using Path IDs so they were most likely changed in the patch. Use the backup or reinstall the game to get back wrongly deleted meshes.

 

You can manually export and edit textures by using "Plugins". I'm attaching my texture to let you know the name of what to edit or if you want to use it:

The mesh part will be harder, since I don't really remember which one (or more) I deleted. You'll have to figure that out on your own. If you start deleting everything with a "swimsuit" or "bikini", you can get everyone on the island naked and sooner or later you'll get Daisy too. However, backup regularly, because if I remember correctly, one of the bikini meshes was actually some kind of fish.

 

The rest is on you, I'm not really focusing on this game anymore... and this site at the moment.

Nude mod is better than the updates of the game? I've kinda hoped to get back to it once it was some stable & good quality version.

So is the mod officially dead?

talk about bad timing, bough the game at 1 dollar sale and when i downloaded the mod, only the word nude mod appear is working under the orc seller but character is still wearing the swimsuit.

I should have read all the way down before buying.

I think it's outdated. Maybe you can find a way to download an older version of the game. I know people did it with Fallout 4.

Hi, yeah. thank for the advise. i did thought of that but unfortunately, there is limited information to get a older depot ID of the game. look like i have to install from 3rd party source.

Thanks for the mod. I've tried to play the old version of this game where the mod is compatible (before Aug 3, 2024) but the game keeps closing and redirecting me to Steam to download the latest version in my library. Same thing even when I go offline/completely shut down Steam... How do I prevent this?
