Starlight64 Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I recently downloaded Skyrim Upscaler and reqirements. And it crashes on start up. I tried the DLLS and DLLA and it still crashes. I have Nevidia Geforce if anyone needs to know that. This is the lastest crash log. When I disable the mod the game works just fine. But then I get stuttering and freezing when it's not enabled. crash-2024-07-29-16-08-59.log
traison Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 Does SkyrimUpscaler.dll have an associated pdb file? Disable PDPerfPlugin.dll, SSEDisplayTweaks.dll and po3_PhotoMode.dll and test again.

Locate and rename the dll files. Change their extension from .dll to .txt. Locate and move the dll files onto your desktop.
Scautura Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 You don't say which version of the upscaler you're using (Nexus or Patreon/paid), nor if you're using ENB. If you're using the Nexus version of upscaler, and ENB, they're incompatible. Use one or the other, but not both together. If you want the functionality of ENB, there are other options such as Community Shaders or ReShade, both of which are (should be; I'm using both with the Nexus version) compatible with upscaler, and each other. 1

This is very plausible, considering the crash log.

I even disabled photo mode and display tweaks and it crashes.

I am using the nexus version of skyrim upscaler and I have community shaders and reshade. The version of upscaler I am using is version 1.2

Liominnits Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Mine is crashing too once I installed the latest framework.
traison Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Right so I had a look at the crash in a disassembler. The reason its crashing is because you're missing a dll. You didn't read the mod description properly.
