Help - EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF899C99C71

Hi everyone,

I've recently started experiencing random crashes in the game, despite having run a stable load order for several weeks without issue. I haven't added any new mods, or I would have looked to one of those as the likely culprit. I'm not sure I understand how to interpret the crash log. If anyone is willing to explain what is wrong, or how I should interpret this log I would greatly appreciate it. The CTD appears to happen randomly, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 45 minutes. Not doing any particular action or command when it happens, just moving around walking or running. My crash log appears to be too long to add as direct text, so I've added it as an attachment.

The main message at the top of the log says: Unhandled exception "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF899C99C71 skee64.dll+0019C71    and rcx, [rdx+0x20]

Thanks.

  • Wrong forum.  This is the technical support forum for Skyrim/LE.  The error message indicates the fault is in skee64.dll which is for SE/AE.  Ask a moderator to move your thread to the appropriate technical support forum to increase your chances of getting useful advice.  There is a smaller subset of people who frequent this thread (Skyrim/LE) who are knowledgeable enough to offer advice for your game version (SE/AE).
  • Post the contents of the .log file in a spoiler.  That way you are more likely to receive help because more people are going to look at the log file if it's in a spoiler than there are people willing to download and open a file from an unknown source.

Thank you, I didn't realize this was the LE forum. My apologies.
