Can't get group sex to work

When I try to "Invite to Join", a pop-up appears saying:

Couldn't Prepare Animations

With the provided criteria of involved sims and picked Location/Object, no fitting Sex Animations could be found.

How do I fix it? I've downloaded plenty of animations that should give me the option for group sex.

I recommend testing using random instead of picking any type of sex, since it will draw from anything available.  This should at least let you into the act of sex, and then you can open the menu to see what options are available. That is what I have done when this has been an issue for me. So instead of picking a partner and "vaginal", "anal", "oraljob" etc you will pick "random".
