ssjkirby Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 This is bascally a request for anyone who wants to take it up, but Is it possible to convert SFM models to body meshes for skyrim? I dunno if you all have seen, [i mean it's not to have if you're interested in the content on this particular board >_>] A certain SFM artist over at naughtymachinima named Vaako [a.k.a. legend] has made quite a few amazing animations featuring his OC, Soria: (It isn't realistic but the unrealistic figure enhances sexyness in this situation by all means) http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRujlqxnjDNyzTGPkeINU0B8xkRrqwqDuoq6tPPX3f5N5STWEDjqA http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT_bspYiEg1MZkmyRQkulVnU1Y9lDIKCQ82kk_xe4DhYvXSKv5IaA http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSHmo9oYJFLBQl_hSVjEsZiVb8Vj6AotCVFNhWbbo4Kb61NLFcvlQ Stills and pictures really don't do her justice so I suggest you check out his public videos, NSFW mind you, make sure no ones looking over your shoulder http://www.naughtymachinima.com/user/vaako7 SFM files: Elf - https://www.mediafire.com/?15f6r4bh6qhjq20 Human - Soria_Human_SFM.rar Also, I'd like to get into modeling, in particular weapon meshes and textures, but bodies on the side too so I can make personalized variations of things or make my own, where should I start?
ssjkirby Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 BUMP, I'd like some advice on modeling atleast.
JahReit Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 I was scanning the forum threads and found some very good advice and links to modding techniques. I think they were on the previous page, 17 or 16 I think. One had advise from Arrok, one of the premium modders along with some of his work that can be used.
Passerby Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Interesting my search would lead me back to loverslab. I was actually just looking to see if anyone had undertaken the same thing, and looked into what it would actually take. Vaako's the one who first did most of the Soria animations and picture you see everywhere, and released the model data he used for gmod awhile back (You'll find that data and her human derivatives on digitalero). Of course, since Soria herself is from unreal you can find her more vanilla model data around as well. Which I'd actually love to see find its way into fallout or skyrim. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTRwsuAdtKk, http://vaako-7.deviantart.com/art/The-blue-swashbuckler-339248721 Once you have that, you can find a tutorial with links to all the necessary applications and plugins for importing sfm resources into blender here, and from there I'm sure you could find one for exporting it as a .nif+.dds without too much trouble. As for actually rerigging each of the bones, that's something else entirely. It could be deceptively easy, but I'm guessing it'd be tedious and time-consuming.
vaako-7 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Getting the assets out of the compiled SFM models is the easy part, as far as I'm concerned. However, I have never had an ounce of luck with modding gamebyro games. I love downloading mods for Skyrim, but actually doing anything for it seems to be out of my range of abilities. I would be happy to provide files to anyone who wanted to attempt it though.
