Question assistance for those who use SL Survival.

I've been using this mod & (Public Whore) after a fresh new game for about 4 days, and don't get me wrong, I really like the mod(s) for my first time using it but honestly, I find some features really annoying during gameplay in SL Survival.. If it's possible, I'd like to turn off some settings permanently. 

 

*How do you turn off the "Cursed Devices" and/or (mainly) "Devious Devices" in the Gate Tolls in Sexlab Survival?*

 

I didn't like it when every time I enter a city hold or such, I'm forced to equip a DD like the Armbinder and that gets in the way of quest. I even use the Public Whore mod with it and it fits well together, but If I'm using PW quest while my PC forcefully equip DD from the Toll Collector / Guards in SL Survival, I cant get anything done within any city in-game unless Im in the wild exploring Skyrim quest.

 

Sure I can get keys and un-equip them from the Cheat Menu Mod with ease, or go to the DDe MCM to un-equip all devices from my PC, but I think that's kinda overkill to keep manually doing it every time when I keep getting forced to equip an DD Armbinder etc.. from the Toll Collectors when entering/leaving an city. 

 

I understand Its an Sexlab Survival Experience with strict gameplay for the PC but that's insane with no option to turn that off... unless I'm missing something important?

Mir gefiel es nicht, wenn ich jedes Mal, wenn ich eine Stadtfestung oder ähnliches betrete, gezwungen bin, einen DD wie den Armbinder auszurüsten, was der Quest im Wege steht. Ich verwende damit sogar den Public Whore-Mod und er passt gut zusammen, aber wenn ich die PW-Quest verwende, während mein PC in SL Survival zwangsweise DD vom Toll Collector / Guards ausrüstet, kann ich in keiner Stadt im Spiel etwas erledigen es sei denn, ich bin in freier Wildbahn und erkunde die Skyrim-Quest.

 

Klar, ich kann mit dem Cheat-Menü-Mod ganz einfach Schlüssel bekommen und sie ausrüsten oder zum DDe MCM gehen, um alle Geräte von meinem PC auszurüsten, aber ich denke, das ist irgendwie übertrieben, es jedes Mal manuell zu tun, wenn ich es behalte Sie werden gezwungen, beim Betreten/Verlassen einer Stadt einen DD-Armbinder usw. von den Mauteintreibern auszurüsten. 

 

Ich verstehe, dass es sich um ein Sexlab-Survival-Erlebnis mit strengem Gameplay für den PC handelt, aber das ist verrückt und es gibt keine Möglichkeit, das auszuschalten ... es sei denn, ich übersehe etwas Wichtiges?

 

I don't use such mods anymore ... but there should be settings in the MCM how often such "events" (for example equipping device "xy") should take place at all

Yeah, there's no such option in the MCM for that event in the Tolls setting for the SL Survival mod. I guess that it's just baked in the mod sadly.. thanks for the reply.

I took a quick look at the mod description - from my point of view there is the possibility to "adjust" the stuff you are equipped with - if I understand correctly - you have to change a json file (you can do this with a very simple writing program!)

I didn't realize that the mod had an actual blog post, the SL Survival mod by MM1 blog was closed for future comments, like it said on the bottom of the post... 

 

Thanks for the guidance, like I did say that I'm new to these type such mods...😅 and I thought questions for it was permanently closed..

 

I'll see about adjusting settings in the json file but hate messing around with other mod author files, then asking for help because I broke something out of nowhere. but ill just look into it.

...I'm stuck in this mode when you enter a village or city, a guard appears and tells me that I don't have a companion...after which he sends me, Automatically, to the guards' room. That's the whole game with this mode, I can't do anything, I don't even have time to look for a companion!!! Yes, it's a good mode...only in theory, practically...stupid!

LOL... love this mod.. just removed it cos I got tired of ~Player.additem 00000f 2500 to give myself money again and hobbling off to Laura's Bondage Shop to be free of the restraints the townfolk punish you with if you don't play with them. Haha!  There's work arounds for everything...  The mod is lot's of fun with submissive Lola the resubmission and Devious followers.  Use with a system like Nether's Follower Framework at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community under system, you can force *most* NPCs to be followers or marriageable spouses.. You can have a lovely house and make babies LOL... or not... You can set anyone as a follower/owner of your choosing... but don't stray far from them, lol you'll be more popular than you wanna be. It's a fun lead in to PW. I personally prefer the more relationship oriented Reubmission to the sheer chaotic gangbang the gameplay can become.  You *DON'T* have to approach the Whiterun gates (or w/e city gates) to attract the guards when you start.  You can determine which NPC you like and set them as follower... some are by nature devious.. if you have that mod installed... or devious mode can start... also.. you can jump right into something like Lola early on as well. If you get dragged off to the guard quarters (fun when you have Body Search and Body Search anims installed)... they let you go anyways so.. nakedly you can scurry off to make clothes or find a protector. It's not always the same game everytime.. and the silliest stuff happens on the way to something seemingly simple that derails your plans completely!

Download *cheat* crafting supply chests off NEXUS at the smith stations, esp with leather and leather strips so.. when they steal your clothes you can easily make newer prettier outfits!~ Crafting Supplies - All In One at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community. Not all arre craftable, so be sure to download.. Skyrim Cheat Engine.

Once you have a follower, just pay the toll and you can leave... must keep the curfew tho.  Lot's of different playstyles.. lot's of mods to mix around and combine. I personally love the club scenes, tavern, prostitution, fashion stuff. Pretty much Lola mods are the backbone, while things like Slaverun reloaded, SL Survival, Sexy Adventures, etc.. to me.. are just extra... a different mindset might substitute Pahe or DOM and use the same supportive mods to achieve a radically different playstyle. Sometimes the bondage aspect gets annoying but you can tone it down or tune it in the mods themselves. It makes for wonderful eye candy though. The hobbling around part.. not so much. Anyways, hope this gives you ideas.. everyone plays a different kind of game.
