How to (successfully) initiate a threesome

My Sim has a high romance level with 2 women that they had sex with multiple times. 

 

I tried to have a threesome with both so I invite both over and started a sex animation with one of them and then clicked on my sime and chose the option to invite the other one, but that didn't work.

 

Instead, the other sim got angry that I cheated and left and I needed to start fixing the relationship.

 

Note that I was not in a relationship with either of them.

 

If this doesn't work, how can I successfully do a threesome?

I feel your pain mate, been there, done that (in the sims).

The easiest way to get into a threesome is by joining an already ongoing session, or allow a 3rd person to join a session you're already engaged in. There are settings in WW where you can set the likelihood of people asking to join. You can also set other sims "always accepts", but that is kind of cheating and isn't really all that fun.

 

The main reason people refuse to join is that they have no previous relationship. This means you'll have to make sure your ménage a trois candidates know and like each other, that their sexuality is compatible (a hetero participant might refuse due to not being interested in wohooing with someone of their own  sex or gender). Personally, I spend a lot of time making sure the sexual attraction is somewhat similar to real life, with most males being attracted to men or women, and women being a bit less specific. If you do not fiddle with general sexual attraction, townies are bisexual (or even omnisexual), making your life a bit easier.
