How to view DD contraptions under clothes and armor?

I'm somewhat new to this nsfw modding stuff, I downloaded dd but whenever my character has a contraption equipped and wears an armor on top of it, the contraption disappears.
It's really annoying and I would like to find a way for that to not happen.

1. Check DD settings. There at least used to be a toggle for this.
2. Make sure the item you want to show is not occupying the same equipment slot as something else you're wearing.

The worn items are called devices (contraptions are bondage furniture), but your meaning was clear.  The device hiding feature is usually a good thing, such as to ensure that a chastity belt doesn't clip through though clothing or armor.  However, you can configure DD to change this behavior.  On the MCM, go to Devices Underneath and find the slot for the item that you want to be visible even when clothing or armor might cover it.  For the body slot, you'll see several devices listed to be hidden.  Change the settings for the slots that you care about.
