kkiiees Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 I use community shader with its features and I got a very weird problem about the lighting, it simply doesn't work (there is little to no light emitted from sources light torches or lamps) but when I turn on the console or open the inventory things work as I expected Here is the comparison I tried to disable some light mods like ember xd, elfx; start a new game but it makes no differences can somebody help me, it's weird when playing skyrim with little light
traison Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 This is probably of no help, but I thought I'd make a couple of observations: The particle emitter in the torch changes. I imagine CS is capable of replacing textures, just like what ENB does with particles and sun halo I think. So there's something going on there, as in, CS is disabled in the top picture, again as in, not replacing the particles textures. Assuming CS is actually enabled in both images, the fact that the light is visible in when the console is open could indicate some kind of rendering priority issue. Meaning the shadows are rendered after the light, replacing the light from the torch. Maybe simplifying the setup is in order. CS has a bunch of plugins right? Get rid of some. 1

Thanks, so I disable some plugins and I identified that "light limit fix" is the problem, so I went to the bugs post on the mod's Nexus page and found out that it's somehow incompatible with "Minimap" mod. So I disabled the minimap and things actually worked. Hope this bug will be fixed though since the minimap is pretty handy for me
