WarpedSpoon Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 As title says. I've gotten it to work on some vanilla replaced clothes and armor seemingly, but with others (TAWOBA and a few others I've tried) it simply doesn't change the body beneath the armor. The armor itself does, and even will jiggle with the physics, however. It's odd because in Bodyslide, the preview shows the body aligning with the armor. Spoiler However, both in-game and in Outfit Studio, there is a '3BA' section (the body) that is just a stock standard body with none of my preset changes applied to it. The fact that the armor itself is changing tells me that the files themselves are in the right spot, but... I can't for the life of me figure out why the body changes won't stick. I know there are different slider sets (I'm assuming for different versions of CBBE and whatnot?) but as far as I'm aware, an item will only show the presets that match its slider set, so I figure it can't be that. Spoiler I will say, I've done a lot of strange things in an attempt to fix this issue, and may have potentially broken things further, but I'm not certain of that yet. Things including choosing my preset and checking EVERYTHING (even things that weren't checked via the filter groups), swapping out base-armor replacement mods, checking 'Force Body Normals' etc. I'm on the GOG 1.6.1179 version of the game and have tried my best to make sure all of the mods involved are up to date or not too far out of it. I've also heard that installing Bodyslide via Vortex can cause issues, but it seems like it'd be a pain to take it off and reinstall it normally and reconnect it to everything. If it becomes necessary, I'll give it a try, though. Aside from that, any help would be appreciated.
TnTTnT Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Most armor come with body so when you equip the armor that build correctly with Bodyslide, the body will also correct. But the real body when unequip armor are different, you also need to build the nude body in Bodyslide as well. Check in list or armor selected and make sure that you select something like CBBE Body too. 1
WarpedSpoon Posted June 30, 2024 Author Posted June 30, 2024 Welp. So much for me having the right directory. Somehow it was working on parts of the outfit without having the right directory, no idea how that was working, but I essentially had a 'meshes' folder inside of the meshes folder, and that's where it was uploading everything. Solving that issue also applied the textures to everything. Worst of all, what you said here has been said elsewhere and only now did it make me check with the scrutiny required to figure it out. Probably because of me having changed the directory to fix this issue before. At any rate, much appreciated.
