In order to understand this answer, this user would need to know a little about the basics of 3D modeling of avatars in computer games.

So far he has assumed that his avatar has a naked body and that he then "covers" it with a piece of clothing (here a dress)... similar to real life.

He doesn't seem to be aware that it works differently here... at least that's how I interpret his way of asking this question

A lot of content creators do not add those details because there are overlays which should be able to work on revealing clothes.
