Recommended Kinky World settings

I have the game running with Kinky World for more than a Sim day now and nothing much happened as of now. Some random townie masturbated 3 times in a day in the same spot, but that's about all. Anything else that happened was, because I told my active sim to do it. What settings should I have to have more autonomy sex, especially among non-active household sims?

Sims are more likely to try kinky things if they have kinky traits (woohoer etc), so you could edit NPCs using Nraas. I gave most of Bridgeport's males the dominant and voyeur traits, it still took an ingame week or so for the first kinky interactions to show up.

 

Sims are more likely to try kinky things if they are drunk. I'd recommend placing bars (the ones without bartenders) on some public lots, and making beer and cider. To make a specific sim more likely to interact with you, you can call them over for a drink.

 

Sims are more likely to try kinky things if they are horny. Arousal grows slowly at first ... but your town will gradually become more corrupt as time goes on. If you want to jumpstart things, you could click on a wall in the current lot, and set sims horny. (Not sure if you'd need to activate debug commands in the settings first.)

 

For some interactions I think you need to be friends first. NPC Strangers can grope your sim but your sim will refuse sex. So if your sim gets asked to show something or  grabbed by the pussy by a stranger, they are unlikely to agree to next steps. I usually throw dozens of friendship potions in a new game to avoid the tedium of queueing up interactions. You could also use the computer's KW chat to increase NPC relations.

 

For some interactions you need to be more than friends. I turned Suzy Strummer bi and gave her dominant and voyeur ... she never orders my sim around, possibly because I have never flirted with her, or because my sim's gender preference for girls was 0, or because I've never done a KW interaction with her,  not sure. (On the other hand, Wayne Bumble just requested sex and I think I never even spoke to him before, so uh, not sure.) I suspect some interactions can only happen after you've kissed a sim. (to avoid unwanted relationship changes there's a "no romance on kiss" mod)

 

Sims are unable to try kinky things during some interactions. So while you're bartending, ppl will not approach you. Not sure what other jobs block KW interactions; ppl will approach your sim e.g. while you are performing for tips as a singer (or even while you're in a three-hour rabbithole event).

 

Part of the whole thing seems random, most males in my heavily edited Bridgeport are dominant voyeurs. I played until uh Gardening 10, Mixology 10, but so far only three NPCs demanded my sim undress, and two of those ordered her to woohoo. Male teens seem unable to order my YA sim around. 

 

I think Sims are unable to try most kinky things on people they don't know. Not sure, but I vaguely guess there is some variable that is increased every time you interact with a sim, increasing attraction. (To check, activate KW debug in Settings, then go kinky world -> debug -> show attractions). 

 

If you want some sims to be more active, give them the "Loves Sex" / woohooer trait.

If you want things to go faster, get sims drunk.

If you want your sim to be groped (felt up), give NPCs the mean spirited trait (and maybe make them drunk and horny too).

 

 

The progression is fairly slow at first, and travel seems to reset NPC sims' horniness. So I was slightly annoyed when my sim decided to attend university, and nothing kinky seemed to happen ever. The next game my sim used a transformation potion to get into the male dormitory, then another potion to turn back into a girl. After a while, one housemate (I think because of his Evil trait) kept adding drugs to drinks; it still took days before the frat boys realized more of their options and started asking to be shown bare skin. After a day or two being asked to show boobs, finally they started requesting things. ...

 

... for some things you need to be both friends and horny apparently. Like if your shower broke, you can call the repair dude: Very rarely my sim will autonomously start teasing him. If I mop up the puddle in front of the repair guy, he will usually try to join, but my sim will refuse.

 

Sims also are reluctant to do things with other sims in the same room. This lessens with time (as skills progress) but don't expect your sims to do it in the middle of the dance floor at skill level 1. 

 

(You could also try other tricks, like maybe play a genie, take over an NPC, then have them pop a kinky pill and/or read a kinky book until they're ready for it. Witches have "undress" and "make super horny" spells that can be useful. I think it's also possible to spike drinks as either alchemist or barkeeper or both, but not sure.)

For KW Settings ... depends on what you like to see largely. Like, I turn rape and incest off (and don't play with pets anymore to avoid related content), and play at nraas relativity speed 13 to fit a lot more activity into one day. Since Paparazzi usually just show up to complain about your front door all night long, or with KW decide to have a wank on your kitchen table then watch your sim sleep, I turn them off. 

 

One setting I always change is story progression -> exhibition skill -> active household only. (NPCs will read KW books frequently, and change their wardrobe autonomously, but the result is often ugly.) 

 

But the fastest easiest way to quickstart things is probably just to click on a wall then go "set sims super horny"

KW has a hidden stat called corruption that effects how likely sims are to do stuff. Every time a sim does something related to KW (from woohoo to drugs), their level of corruption increases.

 

Also, all adults (and teens, if you have teens enabled in KW) will constantly have their level of horny increase. The speed it increases at depends on what they are exposed to. Sims watching kinky TV channels will have it increase pretty quickly. Sims in an empty room working on practicing guitar will have it increase very slowly. Sims in a room where another sim has removed some of their clothes will have it go up faster than if everyone is fully clothed. The sim that is nude may (or may not) be embarrassed by the nudity, but they will also become aroused a lot quicker.

 

If they do not woohoo, then it will keep building up until they are super-horny, but it can take several days to reach that level. When a sim reaches that level, they can potentially become willing to woohoo with a relative stranger in the middle of the park.

 

As @Yotix said above, it takes time. With the default KW settings, this can take several sim days. I don't really remember how long, but possibly a few sim weeks before it reaches that point.

 

I usually like to change the default settings a bit in my game. It was amusing at first when I would see townies start going at it on the sidewalk by the grocery store, but after a while, I get tired of my sims constantly being in the middle of unrealistic porno world, where anything goes, any time.
