Steam XSoldier stops console commands from working

So, there's a mod for XCom2 called XSoldier which was supposed to be a mod for the gay guys out there but was never finished. A more updated (also) WIP version was uploaded to Steam. For some reason it makes all game console commands unrecognized (except enablecheats for some reason). Mod commands work fine. Both the mod itself and other mod commands. I don't like losing my soldiers and don't like grinding so I use console commands. I'm hoping that someone could help me figure out what I should do to restore console functionality. I was able to unpack the pak file the mod was uploaded in by using 7-zip.

I've never had this problem with the original released version of the mod and I really don't want to play without this mod. I don't care if I lose functionality that the mod has like special console commands. I just want the game's commands back.

So if anyone could help me figure it out I would super appreciate it. Thanks.

A little late to this, but after encountering this problem myself I decided to rebuild the script files with the cheat extensions from the mod edited out.

Replace the Xsoldier.u file in the scripts folder with this version to get your cheats working again.

Hello, sorry to bother you that someone made a quick fix version of random reset weight bug which also edited Xsoldier.u file. I tried to combine these code together but failed, may i ask if you could update your xsoldier.u base on his file?
