XavierMace Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 I know Stellaris performance has always been iffy, especially in high pop games, but I'm seeing a very specific behavior relatively early and my mod list is relatively light right now with LV being the primary "large" mod. No Giga/ACoT/AoT, etc right now. No "total conversion" mods either. LV, a handful of story mods, some ship sets, and some trait/civic mods. Tried both small galaxy with like 6-7 empires and large galaxy with 19 with no appreciable difference. No wormholes/gateways, 0.25x habitable planets. No Xeno-compatibility. 40 years in, so no crisis yet. I'm getting a several second "stall" on day 6 and 9 on each month (every month, without fail). The rest of the time it's perfectly fine. Doesn't matter what the game speed is set to. Currently using Casako's Framework/Better Performance (wasn't initially) trying to narrow down what specific mechanic is causing the stall. No luck narrowing it down. Turning off trade, merging species, etc, nothing has an effect. Would be hard to replicate the circumstances with LV disabled because it's too much of a factor in the state of the galaxy. Galaxy is currently around 6k pops, 1.1k of which is my empire. No sentry array or other full map sensor coverage. Casako's says there's currently 6k ships, but as of yet I don't have the slightest idea where they'd be. Running i7-12700KF, 32Gb RAM, 4070ti video card. But given how specific the stall is, I don't think it's a system/resource issue. Anyone else seeing this?
