Warrunner Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 On a lark I decided to make my first playthrough character a Companion in my 2nd playthrough. Is there an AI package that works with companions to allow them to use Shouts? Is there a way to give NPC's shouts at all even? Can NPC's use any shout other then the basic knockback one, as that's more or less the only one you see enemies use for most of the game?
TheDriedFinger Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 As I understand, AI packages do not deal with the combat AI of an NPC. Whether an NPC will use shouts is dependent on three factors. First, do they have the shout? Second, are they at the necessary level to use the shout? The magic effects that make up the spells that make up the shout dictate the minimum level. Finally, does their combat style encourage the use of shouts? Here, I would just use the combat style used by the Greybeards (perhaps a tweaked version).
TnTTnT Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 There are some mod that add follower who can shout. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35336 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/46278 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35546 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/44704
