31971207 Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 I have never played it because the long list of patches the mod commands. I now have a much more powerful rig and I figure I should really give it a try once Pandora is released. Considering how popular the mod is there are almost no Safehouse mods on Nexus so I don't know if it's safe to mod it. The kind of changes I am considering are: 1. replace the ceiling, mostly about adding a dome like the Blue Palace. 2. replace some walls to be more like the Clockwork house. So far I think these should be safe especially if I wait for the release of V6 to make those changes. The rest I am not so sure. 3. move statics, furniture and idle markers 4. add new rooms 5. change lighting (l seem to recall long time ago Legacy of the Dragonborn always had some problem with ELFX and I can't find a LUX patch anywhere so I don't know what's the deal). PS: Does anyone know if I can get better textures for those wooden stairway railings?

However, if there are mods that change the Safehouse, such as adding features, make sure that whatever alterations you make are compatible with them or it could cause issues.

If I know what I am doing I wouldn't have started this thread If the Safehouse were any vanilla player home mod then I wouldn't worry but I have no idea how deeply integrated or intertwine it is the rest of the mod which has long long list of patches. LotD also uses all the tricks in Creative Kit and I am not comfortable modding Hearthfire houses.

What I meant was so long as the one altering it knows what they're doing, it shouldn't be an issue.
