ts4.exe disappeared and wont reinstall

Hi,

 

I'm having a bit of an issue. The exe file deleted itself, o the game wont open. I tried repairing the game, then a complete reinstall, neither worked. The exe file wont install, then the installation wont finish.

 

Any thoughts?

 

update: I've found that the ts4.exe has been quarantined by my anti-virus. However, as I have uninstalled the game and it won't reinstall, I cannot restore and add an exception. If this happens to anyone else, please use my mistake as an example and don't uninstall the game before checking the anti-virus.

the game with the exe is installed in "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin\TS4_x64.exe" the dlc are in "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Game\
then you need a path C:\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\

Du mußt die in Quarantäne stehende Datei erst löschen, dann funktioniert die neuinstallation wieder, wenn das nicht helfen sollte, solltest Du in der Registry nach Sims & EA suchen und alles entfernen

the folder you install games into should be not allowed to be looked at by the anti virus in settings of anti virus

also its best to never install games in the program folder make a folder some place else for games

the program folder is a nightmare for many games its just cause the way windows works
