bleeargh
I've modded the upper body parts of the Black Wisteria Armor to the CBBEv3 BBP body using good 'ole blender 2.49b and it looks and works great! While the torso armor is working just fine, there was some clipping on the separate arm pieces. So I went ahead and fixed all the clipping issues in blender 2.49b and when I go to export I get an error: "Cannot export mesh with unweighted vertices. The unweighted vertices have been selected in the mesh so they can be easily identified." Here's my typical pre-export procedure 1. Hit F9. Under vertex groups I delete all pre-existing vertex groups 2. I then highlight the entire mesh in Edit mode. 3. Hop back into object mode and select mesh 4. Hold shift and select the CBBEv3 BBP body 5. Then I use the bone weight copy script with quality set to 3 and "update selected" pressed 6. After weights have been added I select all the meshes 7. After meshes are all selected I import the skeleton of the CBBEv3 BBP body with the "import skeleton only - parent selected" feature pressed 8. I then export. I've modded over 10 outfits for Skyrim so far with out issue. Yet these arm pieces are giving me heart burn. Note that the clawed hands are part of the arm armor. So I made sure to import in the hands as well as the body so that the weights for the hands were copied from the CBBEv3 hands. When importing the skeleton I made sure to import the hands as well as the body with all meshes selected. Okay, after trying to export, I get the error message I listed above. Below is a pic of the highlighted areas blender says need weights. The frustrating thing is all these vertexes that are highlighted are weighted as far as I can tell. They all have a weight of one(1) according to the vertex group dialogue box. Now I've never weight painted before in my life and this may be where I start. Below is a picture of the mesh when you view them in the weight paint option. I thought the color red meant full weight applied. Can anyone help me with this? Link to comment
