whatsoldier Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 View File Better faces for Reguard females - SE This is a submod for "Better Hair -Redguard NPCs" from Lynnaria on Nexus. Changes the faces of most female Redguard NPCs to look more African. They will also have slightly different skin tones. The port was made by Tlam99. I decided to upload it here for better visibility. Â Credits: Lynnaria for the original mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/103047) Roggvir for Rayya headmesh and help in making this mod. Tlam99 for SE port. Jenova23 Posted May 21, 2024 Posted May 21, 2024 (edited) I really like this, but Is it possible to please upload the head, eyes, brow and mouth nif files without having to replace every NPC's Facegen files? This would enhance compatibility. Edited May 21, 2024 by Jenova23

Recently I had to move everything to a new computer so it's a bit of a mess. Also I'm still using LE version so the files might not be compatible anyway, I don't know. Do your NPCs from the mod not look like intended? Edited May 23, 2024 by whatsoldier

Well, the issue is I'm trying to edit each the NPC in the creation kit to my liking like, the skin, hair, eyes and facial features etc... However, I am unable to do so when it involves a facegen morph. Edited May 23, 2024 by Jenova23

However, I am unable to do so when it involves a facegen morph. Â I will explain how I have changed the faces when I made this mod, maybe it works for you as well: Copy the nif file of the NPC you want to change into ..Data/SKSE/Plugins/Chargen. Start a new game and wait until you get to the character creation. Select redguard race and set the weight slider to the same weight of the NPC you want to edit, or else you get a neck gap. In racemenu go to sculpt and then import the head of the NPC from ..Data/SKSE/Plugins/Chargen. You should be able to change hair, eyes and do some sculpting. I recommend changing the skintone later in creation kit. When you have finished and named your character open the console and type spf nameofcharacter and press enter. You should now have a npc file with that name in your skyrim folder. Then open the mod in creation kit. I will just copy Lynarrias explanation from Nexus on how to do that: Â Quote ...select "Data..." which is under "File" in the upper left corner. tick the boxes for skyrim.esm and this mod (should be labeled BRHFN-L.esp), click "Set as Active file" for BRHFN-L.esp, then press ok. If you get any error messages just press yes to all or ignore. Once it loads up, on the left side of the window go to: Actors Actor Actor RedguardRace All the files there are your Redguard NPCs.... Â Double click on NPC you want to edit. In the character gen parts tab you can import the npc file which you have saved using the spf command. Choose the right hair in the "base head parts section" and change the skin tone in the "face tinting color" section. When you're finished click ok. Then highlight the NPC in the object window as blue and press ctrl + f4 to export the face gen data, and leave it alone for a few minutes. When a window comes up saying "Done.", press ok and go to File/ save. Â I hope that helps. Edited May 24, 2024 by whatsoldier
Machovich Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Any one figure out how to match the skin tone of the face with the body?
