Too complicated to explain in brief. There's a .blend file on the Discord somewhere of two characters in the same scene. Create an animation using the animation tools provided with blender, but you'll need to ensure that the two characters' animations are saved to individual Actions, which also need to be properly cropped using the NLA Track in Blender as well. I don't know for sure whether you need to name them correctly in the NLA Track. The NLA Track is important because it helps you crop the length of your animation. I also just use the basic export settings, from what I can remember. They should be exported to .glb format. Both animations are contained inside the .glb at the same time- in other words, each .glb file contains both the Attacker and Victim animations. I recall finding recommended export settings on the Discord at one point. After you have the animations exported, you'll need to create an animations and grabdatas JSON file for your animations along with an animations folder with all your .glb files. The animations.json tells the game which animations to load into the selection, while grabdatas.json tells the game what those animations are used for and the properties of each grab. It's also where you tell the game which animation inside the .glb files to use for which character. You'll need to copypasta someone else's or the base game's structure for these JSON files, typically, and learn to understand what part does what. After that, just make sure it's all in a folder that'll be named after your pack, and then it goes into your HR2's Data folder. It should then load normally as a mod. If you don't get an animation working in the H-Lab, something's wrong somewhere. The folder structure is like all the other packs. ikarn15 Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Is this ever getting any new animations? I honestly like this mod so much that I've disable the base game animations and I'm only using the ones from this mod

If Enlit continues to support HR2, I'll return to it and add more stuff to this pack one of these days. Between being very preoccupied and unsure whether HR2 will ever be finished properly, I'm just holding off for the moment. I do plan on coming back to this. 1
ItzSimplyNasty Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 How do i get those pink hearts to appear while doing the animations?

That is part of the ED_MOD, that also comes with several other features that not all players might want. Check on Enlit3D's discord for more about it in the appropriate Mod Releases sections.

I had that mod before but it only showed when i used characters from that mod. not when i used my own characters. i know not every animation triggered the hearts but even when i used the ones that did, it still did not show for me. know why?

I can't say I know why, it works consistently for me. The only thing I can think of is that you might not have done what the mod suggested and deleted the extra grabdatas files from their original mod authors, which is a pretty necessary part of the installation procedure. If you do not remove the extra grabdatas files from the mods it bases its animations off of, you will have duplicate grabs that don't have the changes made to them by the ED_MOD which would include the heart effects.
