with the extremely open approach to modding they have and tools so open someone was able to turn the game into a 2D platformer, would it be possible to add sex? i know a major issue is modders probably not being interested but it feels like it has a ton of potential

Its not for lack of interest.    Ark has its own Mods Set up, allowing Mods across all versions.

 

Not alot of Mod Makers will make one to be used outside of that.     Website used has rules against that stuff. (Nude skins sneak by with clever wording) 

Even when games have Steam Mods, you kinda get same reply.

 

 

Ark is still pretty popular..  (it has moments...not sure how it holds that many players)    You'd have better luck maybe to convince someone to make new emotes etc.  Instead of full mod work

i say lack of interest as in lack of NSFW modder interest, it is possible to make mods that arnt hosted by the in game workshop but i wouldnt doubt most modders have already written it off
