animal mansion help

i just got back into skyrim and decided to run through the animal mansion once more. i remember there was 3 versions of it the first one, the redux and finally plus. i wasnt able to find the redux or plus on search so i ended up getting the first one the one where you hire a girl to help out at the mansion. but after i bring in the bard to the mansion the dumb guy starts playing and im unable to continue with the quest. i ended up finding the plus one and now the girl isnt there but the bard problem still happens. he automatically starts to play the moment he gets inside and i cant progress. i was able to get past it once and got through the dog mission. but i noticed the first quest was still there and stuck on return to the mansion. i am able to talk and hear about the horse mission but once i finish talking there is no quest. i have no idea whats going on. anyone can help me or know whats going on? didnt have this problem when i played this 2 years ago. i should mention im playing skyrim LE idk if that makes any difference

upon further testing its the horses thats glitched. im not really sure why but the horses are all invisible and i believe thats whats causing the quest from being given. since if i skip pass the horse im able to do the companion part by talking and accepting the quest

Having problem with the horses too would like to know the fix
