AAF - Move around characters during scene?

Is there a way to move around the characters during a scene? I'm using a surrender mod and sometimes the animation plays in the ground, any way to remedy this? Specifically using AAF Violate.

You really *should* be able to use WASD keys and your mouse for panning around your character - and your mouse wheel for zoom.

I want to move the characters, not the camera. I can move the camera just fine.

use numpad keys!
Try it. It's a bit weird but the option is there

My poor tenkeyless keyboard does not like this answer
