redlantern Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 items in the world seem to be completely weightless in this game, i cant run around an interior without knocking everything to the ground or sending something flying like everything is weightless. is there a mod that can make these world items heavier?
Ac3s Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I agree that this is annoying but the only solution I found for this so far is to make your own little mod and edit all the items that can move in the interior. Open the CK, double click on each item and you have two options to change: 1. enable "don't havok settle" which will make sure an item stays static, example would be something like a book not falling over when the interior loads.(this does not seem to work all that well in the exterior though, while everything is loading the script seems to run late so the item in question still falls down) 2. go to the "scripts" tab and add "defaultdisablehavokonload", go inside this scripts properties and select "havokonhit" and then just press "edit", these changes will make sure an item will not move even if you bump into them or whatever. I do this for my own mod(s) and whenever I have fixed a certain item this way I double press "1" on the numberpad of the keyboard to hide the item, giving me a clear view of which items still need to be done, I keep doing this until all the items in the interior are invisible.(alt+1 makes them all visible again) Its tedious but if you really want your home interior with items that do not move or bump away if you accidentally hit them you should consider doing this. Of course none of this works on items you decorated your home with yourself in game, it only has an effect on items that were already there originally, and the moment you pick an item up so that it goes into your inventory it loses these changes.
