Aryes Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Ok, so I am in no way implying that women who suffer from this should be targets for humour or a source of ridicule. I am merely pointing out the irony in this reporters article. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/11/14/jacqui-beck-no-vagina-mrkh_n_4274401.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular#slide=1102773 "The condition mainly affects the reproductive system and "causes the vagina and uterus to be underdeveloped or absent." According to the NIH, it mostly occurs in people with no family history of the disorder." So it sounds like they found that women with underdeveloped or absent vaginas are not likely to pass this on to their offspring.... I'm glad they picked that up Post your interesting news stories here!

Well, to be fair it just means that women with this condition tend not to have siblings, aunts, great-aunts, etc. who also share the condition. To be doubly fair Huffington Post also had absolutely no problems putting up anti-vaccine articles, so they do have idiots in their editorial staff.
Aryes Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 I know. I mean the ones with functioning ovaries also have surrogacy options as well... But it's still ironic.
