Hot take: Aliens should get reworked.

They were the first occult to be introduced back in 2015 so they have no skill trees or aspirations, and don’t have much use besides a handful of things and that one lot in Sixam that is often forgotten because there’s not much to do there anyways. I wish they got more love from the sims team. What do you guys think?

Unsure if you're using "hot take" seriously or not as you're far from the first to suggest that Aliens get more content as there are plenty of Simmers who enjoy playing occults and I am one of them nor would there be a good reason for Simmers to argue against the idea. The same suggestion has been expressed for Mermaids and occasionally Ghosts. Aliens even got a mod to address that problem via the now abandoned Nyx's Enhanced Aliens. 

 

So yes. With vehemence, we agree.
