Gray User Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Custom Load Screens NSFW View File This is a collection of DAZ things I have around, changed a little to look more like BG3. Not perfect but ok ones that sort of look like my BG3 characters. If there are (free and reliable to download) BG3 specific figures for DAZ, leave links in comments and I might remake some of these. I may remake some anyway with better lighting and things. Also it is loose files. Making it a pak has not worked well. Installation: Copy the 'Public' folder to your game data folder (...\Baldurs Gate 3\Data). When done, it should be ...\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Public The start set of images is mostly con, some dubcon/peril. All of the images I have for this (some noncon, guro, futa) are in the 'AlternateVersions' download. There are also images of the options from GIMP to make the border on the images and export them as dds files that work in the game. To use scratch images in places of the start set of images, just go into ...\Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Public\Game\GUI\Assets\LoadingScreen and replace the ones you want to replace. All files must be .dds and have name of loadScreen_BGartwork_# where # is 1-12 (for normal load screens) 15 (for the boot screen) and I think 13-14 for load screens that show during the tutorial quest. To use your own images, you need GIMP or similar. Just export the images as dds (using the options shown in the scratch folder). I did all 1920x1080 but you could try different size it might work or it might not. Submitter Gray User Submitted 04/05/2024 Category Baldur's Gate 3 2

That is not good. Black screen is not normal - if path is wrong should play normal images, if path is right, should play new images. I have not played BG3 since 6 months. I will check and see if this still works with new updates. What resolution are you running BG3?

Maybe it is worth loading the images you want to use into GIMP or similar and resizing them to standard 4k resolution? Don't know about patch 6. Just updated, everything is broken (but the loading screens still work). 1
gluonman Posted November 2, 2025 Posted November 2, 2025 I installed both files from this mod, and there's no scratch folder. Where on Earth is this scratch folder containing the images with the instructions to what settings I need to use in Gimp to save this loading screen image I finished editing? And why not just share those settings in writing on your page? I'm on hour 4 of the hunt for the 2 settings I need to use in Gimp to finish this loading screen I made. Not even the modding wiki contains this info. No idea what format to use for loading screens.
