kasimir Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Yep, weird lights around armor. In this case, the "Dynasty Armor". Haven´t played for a while, didn´t install any new mods beside "a tweaked ENB", but the effect stays also without it. The lights you see here flicker, some green, some red. Happens also around the wrist area of the "Forbidden Armor" and a tera port. Probably more, I haven´t tested them all yet. Help appreciated.
Guest carywinton Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Ooh you have Christmas time early, lol I had a look at this and it is indeed an odd anomaly, especially since I can see the armor mesh and texture look fine. I am thinking it might be a video card issue. Even though everything else looks fine too. Try to check for an upgrade on your drivers, then try and see if turning off Anti-Aliasing and such changes anything, if this does not help then I would try to reinstall the armors that are affected.
webb71 Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I had an issue similar to this one in Skyrim. I had to switch blfoatpointrendertarget=1 to 0. Don't know if oblivion has a similar option or not though.
kasimir Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Solved. It was an issue inside the .nif, somehow the lighting properties were messed up after editing them in 3ds max. Still, no idea why this bug appeared just now, I have been using these armors in this state for some time now...
Poontank Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Might be related to the lighting conditions in this particular location? The testinghall is having a strong ambient lighting of 150 for each of the R, G and B values.
