Random black characters

Why is Sims 4 randomly creating black characters that can't be modified? You can give them new hair, but you can't change the facial features, or skin color. The only way to change it is to randomize the entire character. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off?

This is getting really irritating. Happens every time a Goth ages up to teenager. Nobody knows how to stop the game from doing this?

If memory serves, I think this happened to me briefly and I think it was caused by a mod, though which, I don't know. I heavily doubt this is the game itself as I've hardly seen this issue. Recommend the 50/50 method for which mod it is as it seems you've had this problem for 2 months.
