Guest Posted March 14, 2024 Posted March 14, 2024 (edited) Are there mods that can switch females to males? I have MTO or whatever it is called but it seems outdated and breaks the game. So far, i haven't found a mod that will do that. If there isn't how can i make my own mod that can do that? Thanks Edited March 15, 2024 by TheFruitlessOne

Thanks I am using this one a while now. It doesnt let you actually switch NPCs from F to M, it handles the ratio of F versus M https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/66018 1

Thanks There is a mod that regulates male-to-female spawn ratio of non plot linked npc's on Nexus, it's called 'Gender Ratios'. In theory it allows separate regulation of spawns for different categories. Also there is a mod called 'Black male raiders' - that does pretty much what it says in the name, It has 2 version with and without Nuka-World support, First one can be found on Nexus, the second one - right here. Neither one nor another will touch unique NPC's so it shouldn't break the game. But I suggest being a bit careful, cause if you will uninstall this mods on a live playthrough it's possible (not necessary, put possible) to break the save file. So I would suggest to make a hard-save, install the mod, check if the result is suitable, and if not - just remove the mod and revert to previous save. P.S. Actually there is one more mod that will affect the gender rates, I believe it was called (do not remember for sure) some thing akin to 'Better Settlers'. Also it supposed to deal with settlers only (you can just exclude undesirables from the pull, female, or I don't know - ghouls) it will also affect a lot of random encounters NPC as well. So if you will disable females there - you'll never see a female scavenger in a game also. Edited March 16, 2024 by mishovur
Guest Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Thank you for the response. I think such game altering mods are great. You can create a very different world that diverges from the original premise. I would, for example, also get rid of some creatures. Though i think that not many would like a mod like this because it would change everything really. I did toy with the creation of such mod some time ago and changing the leveled ones is relatively easy. Though i never figured out how to increase the spawns myself. So i am using now more spawns to increase factions.

You can even assigned sex ratios via profession. for example gunners and raiders all male, settlers 50/50 or even 60/40 in favor of female ( to account for attrition of the young men from Fighting raiders or joining them or the Minutemen) 1
