Omicr0n Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 I have a save file that I edit from the start of the world which acts as my starting save whenever I begin a new game. So whenever I think of changes I want to make, I edit the world from this save so that the changes always carry over into new games and I don't have to re-do them every time. Whenever I edit this save I always disable certain mods like KW, Register, StoryProgresstion, etc. so that they don't have any influence on the world before I actually start playing. Anytime I start a new game I always end up having to place the condom dispensers around the world because I've always had KW disabled as a whole while editing the world. I'm curious if it's safe to have the ONIKI_CondomDispenser package enabled while I'm doing this, even if the rest of KW is disabled so that I can just place the dispensers once and forget it. I know the condom dispenser has scripts associated with it so that sims can buy condoms from it, so I'm uncertain if having the package for it enabled while the main KW package is disabled is problematic
Omicr0n Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 I took a chance and placed a bunch of them around town with the condom dispenser package enabled, but the rest of KW disabled. While placing the objects didn't cause any noticeable problems, the interaction for buying condoms from them doesn't actually appear even with KW enabled after the fact. I had to replace all of them with KW enabled to get the interaction to show up. So it looks like I'll have to continue placing them every time I start a new game.
