Switching from patreon version to public version of WickedWhims

I'm considering subscribing to Turbo's patreon and was wondering if there were any potential issues with reverting back to the public version of WW after upgrading to the patreon version in the event I decide to stop doing so in the future.

 

Has anyone had any experience with switching from the patreon version to the public versions of WW?

 

Aside from the obvious loss of features which haven't made their way to the public version from the patreon version, are there any other issues with doing so, such as needing to delete the "WickedWhimsMod" folder that is created under the "saves" folder before starting the game?

 

Is anyone aware of any feature comparison charts for the current versions?

 

I haven't found anything from my Google searches nor any searches on this site on what the differences are between them and was trying to get a basic idea on what to expect.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I never had any issues. The Patreon version gives you SimHUB which you can access from your phone and it gets a higher priority with updates to the best of my understanding. If you want to keep your settings I would advise against deleting the "WickedWhimsMod" folder because that is where your profiles are kept.

I have been having a problem where certain icons are completely blanked out after switching to the public version after having the patreon version. 

So, by this I mean, the SimHUB section is in the phone but all options and blanked out and nothing happens if I select them..

The same goes with certain options under Physical Intimacy and the wicked whims section as a whole...

I have no idea how to fix these and they are currently stuck in my game being bugged.

Did you remember to delete the localthumbcache.package file after changing versions?  I sometimes forget to.
