Modditor Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Can someone please suggest me a good mod collection on nexus with lots of NSFW mods for a complete overhauled NSFW skyrim SE experience?

Just look for collections by the guy named canliberk. Otherwise Ive read that some people seem to use Nolvus (older versions probably) in combination with NSFW mods. The newest version however needs nasa lvl specs. But Id honestly suggest, you gather knowledge and just do it yourself. Had much more stable results wasting my time doing it myself, than I had with wasting time, trying to fix stuff that others set up. Dont think that modding will ever be that easy. Its just easier, when you atleast halfway know what youre doing. 1
Echi Corsair Posted March 24, 2024 Posted March 24, 2024 (edited) Set up SKSE, downgrade to 1.5, install the first ~ 30 essential mods (bug patches, SL frameworks, retextures, enb, 3BA, etc...) then its smooth sailing from there once you've made it stable. The roughest part of modding skyrim is getting the first few mods working which are typically the frameworks but there are extensive guides on it (i.e. Luna's guide). After that, choose whatever you like. Based on experience, mods here (LL) are generally unstable or not safe to remove mid-game (and no, don't listen to others, removing mods mid-game should be fine 95% of the time) so be very selective with what you download. Schlongs of skyrim is also black-magic territory cuz it WILL mess you up if you don't know what you're doing in terms of load order and physics. Just check out Luna's guide. It will help, it helped me. I had 130 mods for 3 years, now around 800 mods and the game looks beautiful, immersive, fun and with H-content thanks to this wonderful community here and their mods. Modding skyrim is actually fun once you've set up the first few mods. Edited March 27, 2024 by Innocent_Squirrel mistake

Most of the stuff I have runs on 1.6, and I honestly dont see why one should revert even further. Except a few older mods, most of the things have been 1.6 for the last few years. almost all form 43 mods still work perfectly (as far as I can judge) on that setup. Neither the authors of the mods seem to have any reason to change that, and have commented that it works on 1.6 So except that annoying error sign in MO2 telling me that theres old files, nothing seems to break that isnt intrinsically an oldrim mod from 2015 that uses physics and only unp bodys. or scripts. or whatever the shit. kinda seems like the more stable go to and like most of the mods in the future willl stay there. since its the last version before bethesdas cc fuckup. This isnt a statement or defense of opinion. Im generally curious.

I haven't tried 1.6 to judge and compare so what I said was more of a suggestion than a statement since I've had an overall positive experience modding SE. I don't think I've come across mods that I wanted that I couldn't get since support for SE has been ongoing for a very long time, especially since it was a popular stable version of the game for so long, and still is. Some old mods where their creators are gone will never get updates for the AE versions unless someone takes it upon themself to take up that task and convert, and I had that in mind when downgrading (mainly within the context of nexus gameplay mods - not kinky mods here since people will definitely keep those alive on all versions here ^_^). I don't know how compatible AE is with the mods I'm running and I'm not talking exclusively about form 43 mods being able to work on SE or AE. Many of the bug reports nowadays to many mods (on nexus) seem to generally revolve around users running AE for mods that were initially created for SE or created with dual support for both SE and AE and just poorly optimized for AE. Since I have been modding my SE version of the game for the past 3 years with ~750 mods, the moment I'm forced to 1.6 is probably the moment I'll be putting the game down. 1.5 is a nice and comfy version I'm happy with. Creation club, saints and seducers, armored horses - I don't care for any of that and can't be asked to restart my modding experience just for a few added tweaks and trinkets. I get it, stuff was just generally stable back in the day. and lots of things are ass now, especially with all the options. some mods have way too many reqs. Though I gotta say, a lot of old stuff can be ported quite easily and is generally stable. Nif optimizer and others help with such. The problem is the engine always getting stupidly updated. But 1.6 is pretty decent. been running mods from 2015/16 with little to no problems. So no reason to give up there. will however not go any farther forward.
