craz3 Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Title explains it all. Haven't played Skyrim since spring last year, then wanted to play this month but anniversary updated, haven't uninstalled anything. I updated all my mods, correctly assuming that they all needed updates, and I even had to troubleshoot a few that are now no longer in my load order because they caused a CTD on main menu load. However, when I clicked new game, I got the vanilla start, which shouldn't be since I have Alternate Start enabled, deployed, the whole deal. I go into the new creations menu, find Load Order there, and see all my mods disabled, so I enable all, assuming the load order will be the same as in vortex/loot, except it crashes instantly after it says it's loading data. I check again, see that indeed, the mods are super out of order in game, most likely causing the crash, so we finally get to my question: How do I deploy in such a way that my mods are in the order they should be from the start, and I don't need to mess with the load order outside of the apps designed to do it?
良遺伝子竜 Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 (edited) Hello. Also was having the same problem. If you are using Engine Fixes, you also need Modified .toml file from Nexus or do it manually https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/108069 And Quest Journal Fix for SkyUI https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/108618 If your plugins still disabled in game, go in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition and delete loadorder.txt and Plugins.txt. After that, you need to re-enable all your plugins in Vortex. Maybe it helps. Edit 1. Recommended to set SKSE to "Run as Admin for all users" Edited February 25, 2024 by 良遺伝子竜 1
