Yeah, it was me. I wanted to upload it there before someone else could. I made it because there weren't any DM Tea mods that I liked.

Do old mods for this game still work? I haven't kept up with this game at all since I stopped playing, but I remember there was an update in May last year that messed up a bunch of character mods due to it changing the names and formats for various graphic files (or something like that), but some awesome person over on Nexus fixed most of them. A quick glance over at Nexus tells me that those collections of fixed mods haven't been updated in almost a year, but a bunch of old character mods were updated back in May of this year for some reason. Was there another update that messed up mods? I have a collection of mods stored away in case I ever wanted to play this game again, and I'd like to know if they'll still work.

 

 

An update made sprites show more of the character's bodies (chara007) , resulting in a misplacing of their faces. Most of the old mods should already have a fix to download though.

That's the fix that I mentioned before as having not been updated in almost a year. I was under the impression that there was another mod-breaking update to the game after the one in May 2023. I already got that fix back before I stopped playing, so if there hasn't been anything else since then that needs fixing, then cool. I just wanted to be sure.

Thanks! I have another character I've wanted to edit, but other than that, I don't know. The rest of the female cast has already been modded, so the other course of action I could take is completely swapping characters, which would take much more time and effort than the Tea mod.

I believe the mods made for the other characters are well-made enough that I don't feel the need to make my spin on it. Besides, I requested the art from a friend of mine, and I wouldn't want to overbear them with too many beggings.

to be honest your tea mod i think it is better then the other mod that exist for her 
and you got charcters like that other oblisk blue girl or the meg and ashely 
and there is character that are coming to the game so just do your best and you’ll get to the top i look forward to see more mods on this form

Kind of wish there were more card edits. Not really a lot of them out there, although I imagine they are tougher to do since they're like full on art to edit instead of a body

They are also harder to find. They are just listed as numbers unlike character sprites that have a coding/naming sense arrangement

Speaking of card edits, I remembered something. Here's a spreadsheet made by the person who did the old uncensored cards mod. I used it to mess around with some of the card art back when I played the game (I didn't really make anything, just rearranged some images to make some of the easier-to-get cards look like pretty girls so I didn't have to lose my sanity to the gacha to have a waifu deck). It may or may not be out of date though, but at the very least every card released up to early 2023 should be in that spreadsheet. If my memory serves correctly, "File, L" is the full size card art, "File, M" is the medium-size card used in gameplay, "File, S" is the tiny thumbnails of the cards used in menus, and "File, MBB" is the monster hologram seen in gameplay if you're not using the top-down perspective.

 

And here's a .rar of playmats and card sleeves as plain images. Each image's filename contains the game's filename for that sleeve/mat. The "M" folder contains the full-size ones, and "S" is the menu thumbnails.

 

Maybe these are already well-known resources, but regardless, they should be helpful to anyone who wants to mod stuff besides just characters.

When you check the game files, the cards only have card ID to look for, so if you don't know that, you have to check every single one (unless you can estimate when they were released), while Character Sprites have sn112 (Serial Number; World one; Duelist 12)

 

This is the first time I encounter this spreadsheet. I guess it is easier to look for some cards

UABE Avalonia for Asset Editor. I use the May 14, 2024 version

 

Asset Studio GUI for Asset Reader. Use the latest version you can find (to increase the type of files it can read) (Memory usage is high)

 

Use the Asset Reader to find the file in the game files. Copy and Paste to a location you like. Use Asset Editor to extract the images and to replace them later

 

If you already have the files you can skip the reader and just use the editor on each file. Asset Studio GUI doesn't read the files (and extract) if the files aren't arranged in a certain way

This image is from the current uncensor modder (that's not me and I don't think that person is in here)

 

This might be the reason why some mods are "ruined"

 

I haven't checked how is it in game but some victory poses should be reworked (larger image), and it is tedious to do if your PC isn't strong enough to extract those in 1 go

If that white dialog box is a texture, it should be possible with the same methods we're doing with sprites (Considering the "You Win" can be made transparent)

Though I won't have any idea where to look for it since most of the things we see in-game are textures (all things in the information tab that isn't in the game's font is a texture)

I think it is just gonna be a pain to find....

If it is not a texture then I would not know (I am not a programmer)

So I've seen a lot of comments that people are disappointed there's not more nude card edits, and it seems like this tool could help:

I know it's being used by the Action Taimanin modder, and the previews they've shown off are really promising. This post didn't specify, but 'generations for small resolutions are free' is only for the most expensive ($25) 'Optus' tier subscribers though.
