I apologise if this isnt allowed, feel free to delete. So with a eventual framework coming based off the one of a kind mod, I have compiled every NSFW mod i have downloaded since I started playing palworld, which i am willing to donate to a team to utilize. basically every mod from nexus and LL including ferrals even the previous POD models. feel free to message me. intial starting 1/26/24 and current as of 2/18/24.

My hope is that we will be able to have multiple models and textures for both sexes randomly. 
(I.E. 3 dazzi models, one with small breasts, one with huge breasts and ass, one with just huge breasts, etc. with a certain percentage chance of spawning each type: small titty Dazzi~33%, Big titty Dazzi~33%, big titty and visible ass/genitals Dazzi~33%)

(another example: 2 male Eikthyrdeer, one sheathed ~50% spawn chance, and one fully erect~50% spawn chance, 2 female Eikthyrdeer one with tits and genitals ~50%, one with feral pussy ~50%, etc.)

So basicly compiling <bunch of single .paks> into one ex O.K. framework compatible model? Do you have a proof-of-concept?

First and foremost, you'll need permission from the original authors to use their models / resources. Making a pack for yourself is fine, but the second you plan to distribute it as a pack, permission is mandatory. There is no faster way to kill someone's urge to create than redistributing their stuff without permission

Second, I actually tried to do this with a few models, and I ran into issues with custom skeletons and models that need them working on O.K. framework. If you get past this somehow, let me know lol

Third, when I was doing my attempt my thinking was actually using condenser level or pal level to increase "lewdness". EX you could have all pals naturally be SFW version or just cookie / unerect penis. As you upgrade them through condenser, they wither gain or have grow their assets. I didn't have a clear idea what to do with females (maybe smaller out-of-heat vs engorged in-heat?) but with males it was pretty obvious and lets you easily identify your best pals via hornyness

I like the idea. i was under the impression they were planning on dishing out links to the required mods rather than just forcing the inclusion in their own upload. Which to me seemed completely fine and dandy.

 

I would have already grabbed OoaK by now myself if it were a simple act of just plugging the mod into the folder. but the description sounded like I have to figure out a lot of complicated stuff to put it all together. I feel like it's going to overwhelm me if I just jump into the deep end. I'm not confident at handing too much information or too much personal-side tweaking of the mods.

 

If you basically just lay out a "How-To OoaK for dummies" or explain how to do it for one of the current male-and-female sets out (I know there's a male and a female version for Chillet, Depresso, and for Flopie) I think I'd be able to catch on and handle it from there.

This is cool idea but you need permission from the creators of those models and whatever assets in each of the respective mods. It's basically stealing if you didn't ask for permission and as far as I can tell if you are planning to make a public mod, which is enough for people to not entertain the idea.

PoD consists of assets made by people who started a new mod, and using some of those assets. It's pretty insensitive to just disregard the works of the individuals who made the models, animations, etc. If it's because of a certain individual, that's even more petty and dumb.

They completely abadoned those assets and are starting from scratch. Said so themselves. Not only that, but considering all the lies and potential scamming from Kamies group, its not like they deserve the respect of "asking for permission".

That's fair if the creators said the assets are game for anyone, but you do know the mod team asked for Kamie to step down and left once she didn't agree (which started the drama). Like bruh, they of all the people involved don't deserve any bad faith.

I know for a fact that at least Jomokin - the creator responsible for all of the feral mods that PoD had put out - has said their mods are not to be re-uploaded anywhere else. But they still have their mod up for grabs here.

 

Don't give bad advice. Your advice is essentially stealing and making up reasons to pretend it isn't stealing.

 

If you made it it's yours. if you didn't make it then it isn't yours. Simple.

 

Including stolen content in your mod would just give your mod a bad reputation. On top of the fact that there would be a lot of drama the mod they're trying to establish would never have a solid foundation to grow from. It would only be a fart in the wind.

 

A not-too-hypothetical of how these things do; a select few enthusiastic anarchists push the re-uploads of the stolen content for a bit to fight the take-downs from LL and nexus, but get tired of re-uploading the deleted content after a month (at most).

 

The progress of the mod itself: dead after the first deletion. It'd just be kids pushing a husk of a mod that could have become more if the creators hadn't had to wade through the drama and were just free to cook.

Its not "stealing " at the end of the day its a mod. No mod in existence respects the original games models or developers and essentially use stolen original assets to create the mod.  Genshin being a prime example. 

 

Out of RESPECT we ask modders for permission to reupload, but NO ONE is under any legal obligation to actually uphold that request to not re-upload or remodify a modification... that being said, i personally do ask for permission of modders and concepts artists i respect.  But the group who worked on PoD deserves no respect. The entire mod is a bad apple regardless of who worked on it, and Kamie is to blame.

You hide behind definitions both real and imagined.

 

You can't argue with repeated observable results of the same action time and time again.

 

If you add content that the original creator didn't allow you to add then your content is going to spiral. The actual creators will only work on a mod for so long when things are dramatic - and they always are once the general community and site staff are aware of the bad play.

 

You know this is true. It's human nature. It's group mentality. It's status quo.

 

The people that put time into making these mods, while they may indeed enjoy the work, are still putting real effort into it. It's work. Once their passion for the work has waned they stop working.

The only things driving them are passion, gratitude, and community. The happiness their mod brings to others is what drives them to create. That disappears when drama starts.

 

So please, Ballistixz, don't directly advocate for drama.
