Aria Hawke Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 This may sound odd, but for story/drama reasons i was hoping maybe someone might know of a mod that causes a sim to be in denial that they're pregnant until they hit the third trimester and its impossible to deny or something and then they freak out because they have to quickly come to terms with it because they're literally about to give birth soon and they spent most of the pregnancy denying that they were pregnant in the first place, attributing their symptoms to stress, weight gain, overeating, being bloated, ect.
Faolon Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Lumpinou's "Relationship & Pregnancy Overhaul Collection" has something close, but not quite that. The mod lets you decide how a sim feels about having a child and if able, how they feel about being pregnant. You can have a sim not want to be pregnant get pregnant. Which gives them stress moodlets and stuff. Though it can be difficult since a sim that doesn't want a child will refuse to have sex without protection. You CAN force it with cheats, though. For example, I had a sim couple where a guy with commitment issues got his GF pregnant and wanted nothing to do with the kid. I had this happen for the same reason as what you're wanting: Drama. Thanks to RPO the dude was constantly stressed and getting negative moodlets about his girl being pregnant and the girl after announcing the pregnancy had negative moodlets because her partner reacted so poorly to the news. Keep in mind, though, that this mod interferes with certain options in Wicked Whims. Like it completely removes adult/teen romance, as well as incest stuff. You have to jump through hoops to get it to work again. If you're not at all interested in that kind of thing, you don't have much to worry about. Just make sure you fully read the instructions.
