wickedwhims mod messed up my game, HELP

Hello! Btw english is not my first language, so if something seems wrong let me know lol

So! I play with wickedwhims for a couple of years now and it aways worked just fine. I didn't play for a few months and then I came back and updated the mod (I play with the original base game + expansions by DLC Updater). Then when I open the game and load my saved file, I'm at the manage worlds page, select my house and select play, then the loading page shows up and bam the manage worlds page comes up again. Basically, I can't play the game because I'm stuck in this eternal loop where I click to play and the game comes back to the manage worlds page. So I came to the conclusion that one or a few of my many thousands of mods is messing up my game, so I downloaded the ModConflitDetector, there's a bunch of mods that have a conflit, I deleted like 2/3 of my mods (which is SO MANY I SWEAR), and the problem is still there. So I made a test of removing the wickedwhims folder of the mods and the game works PERFECTLY. The mod was perfeclty instaled, as I play with it for years so I know how to do it, but not only it isn't working, but is f******* up my game. All is updated, the base game, the DLCs, the wickedwhims mod, nothing is wrong with the install, the mods and script mods are allowed in the game... I even tried to download and install the older version of the wickedwhims mod thinking the newest one could have a bug, but no, it doesn't work either. I have no idea what to do to solve it, does anyone have a clue? I'd be forever greateful!!!!!!!

I left Sims 4 for several months and I found out that I needed to completely empty my mods folder and start over, some of my mods needed to be replaced as they were no longer being updated. This also meant that I needed to start out with new save game because some of the mods I depended on were no longer updated or available. Modding games can be fun but it also has it's headaches too...You should not have many issues with skins, objects (build-buy), makeup, presets or clothing if they are fairly recent. Script mods are where you may run into bottlenecks. You can try removing all SCRIPT mods and then adding updated versions one at a time until you find what is causing the problem. Make sure you update your game to the latest version and then ensure the scripted mods you would like to use will work with it. Most reputable developers will tell you their mods have been tested or patched to the latest version. If the mod you wish to use has not been updated in a year or more, you can try them but you may run into loading problems. GOOD LUCK.

Do you remember if this save was made on the "Manage Worlds" screen? A few DLCs ago, a bug was added that causes problems if WW tries to save outside of an active lot.

You may be able to work around this by loading in with WW removed, making a new save, then putting WW back in and loading the new file.

Yes, the new update WW178a have removed all the sims on the old playthrough lot. I deleted the gameplay and created a new one. When I finished the CAS and about to start a new lot, the sim is nowhere to be found. Seems the WW178a update can crash the old saves or make the newly created sim disappear. Please, check that.

I relocated the Mod file to somewhere else and restart from base game. I'll see if I can find where the problem is.
