NaruNaruWeenie Posted February 10, 2024 Posted February 10, 2024 (edited) Started getting this error recently when I installed a handful of animations. I don't have any mod like DAR, which seemed to be causing the issue for most everyone else who made a thread. I'm using Nemesis, I increased the cap in the INI for it (though I don't think that actually effects anything in game) I did the math, have something along the lines of 37144 animations between the two error messages. I feel like I might be going crazy, but I could of swore that I had more animations than this at some point or other(Or that more animations than this are possible) and only now it's acting up; but I can't definitively prove that. Is there any other common causes for this? Oh and i do have the SRT crash fix as well, doesn't seem to have made a difference. Edited February 10, 2024 by NaruNaruWeenie

In Nemesis? 7 hours ago, NaruNaruWeenie said: I don't have any mod like DAR, which seemed to be causing the issue for most everyone else who made a thread. I'm using Nemesis DAR most likely has its own limits that probably have nothing to do with Nemesis, so using information about limits related to DAR is probably not advisable. 7 hours ago, NaruNaruWeenie said: I increased the cap in the INI So presumably the error message you saw came from Nemesis? As far as I remember, there never was a version of Nemesis that came with an ini that allowed you to increase the animation cap. There was a version of the dll (which apparently was difficult to find and/or not compatible with newer game versions) that had its hardcoded limit increased. No further development has been done on Nemesis that I'm aware of since they announced they were going to rewrite it and the github page stopped getting code updates - this is probably a couple of years ago now. I could be wrong, but my point is "Are you sure?" 7 hours ago, NaruNaruWeenie said: 37144 animations between the two error messages There was another error message? Where did it come from, and what did it say? Where did 37144 come from? The error message you have in the title seems to suggest there's an arbitrary limitation somewhere. 16384 is a quarter of a 16 bit integer, which is typically not what you'd see. 32767 would have made more sense, being the upper limit of a 16 bit signed integer. Maybe its an engine limitation - Skyrim seems to be full of these kinds of things. 8 hours ago, NaruNaruWeenie said: I could of swore that I had more animations than this at some point FNIS XXL boasts an animation limit of 32,000 and it may be that this limitation has been removed as well. You'd still be exceeding that limit, if you do indeed have 37144 animations, so you'd most likely need additional engine limitation removing mods. 8 hours ago, NaruNaruWeenie said: Oh and i do have the SRT crash fix as well, doesn't seem to have made a difference. If SRT is an animation limit remover of some kind then as far as I know this wouldn't appear to make a difference unless you were already crashing because of the limit. FNIS for instance will still complain that you're over the animation limit, despite having a limit removing mod. The limit is in the game engine, not in FNIS. FNIS is merely informational.
