I'm shocked this hasn't been done yet but has anyone started looking to add an option where you can interact with a the breeding pen to act as the opposite gender of a pal? Like I've seen alot of discussions about modeling and sex animations but nothing on doing something like this yet.

I would imagine as much as the community might want something like that, that it's a much more complicated endeavor than some comparatively easy reskin/texture changes.

Given the complexity surrounding the breeding system I have no idea where someone would even start with creating a mod like this. The player character gender would have to be taken into account, but the PC also doesn't have a "species" type so the breeding system wouldn't know what stats/passives/species combination to give to the resulting egg.

IT could completely ignore the player species and use the pal rarity / properites twice, essentially player character = ditto. Child Egg would be a clone of parent. There is still a lot of work to be done in the scripting ex getting the code to run the animation, some kind of framework to handle the animations and pairing animation to the player/pal type, the animations themselves. It's going to be a bit of time.

I'm also shocked no one has at least copied over whatever properties make Pal's breedable over to the human enemies you can capture.  I've tried looking through the Pal data in the save files myself and I've figured out how to assign a gender to a captured human, but not yet how to set a flag yet to make them breedable.  I'm guessing that part might not actually be in the save data and I'll need to take a look in the actual game files.  Even if it's more complicated to make the player participate in breeding, making the human NPCs breedable *should* be easier.

I agree with cptkorea, why hasn't anyone made a breedable humans mod yet? You would think it would be of the first 'NSFW' mods out since doesn't sound so difficult compared to writing entire sex frameworks or remodelling most creatures in the game. Some of us just want breedable humans and don't care about any NSFW animations and fancy stuff like that. It's weird that humans can't breed to begin with despite pals being able to interbreed with every other different species pal in existence. Yet you can catch humans and lovanders paldeck entry is a thing so.. common sense.

Not to mention some humans can spawn with neat passives you can't even use to get on a pal instead. Or maybe breedable humans could open the door to mods that allow humans to inherit pal parents skills or work types. Currently humans are pretty pointless unless you sell them so would at least make then somewhat useful if that was a thing. Just odd that no ones tried this yet.

We're still fresh into this game's release. The very simple stuff will always come out first. Value changers (health, stamina, weight, fast travel unlocks, etc) will always lead the charge because they're just an alteration to a line of text in the files somewhere. After that the easiest change in a game like this is just adding an attachment to a model (like breasts and genitals). Soon followed by sexy models that require more effort than simply adding an attachment (like editing katress's cloak so she's exposed).

Whole framework systems will always come out several weeks or months later because they take time to make. they're coming though. They just take longer.

Yeah, it was about a year and a half after Skyrim launched that we had Sexlab.

 

I wouldn't expect a functional sex mod for a while.
