Hello everyone !
I have a big problem.

in games it is marked that I have version 1.6.1170.0.8 which corresponds to the anniversary edition except that on steam it is marked that it is the special edition.

but are the mods marked as part of the special edition on loverslab compatible with my version of the game?

good day to all

All versions of Anniversary Edition are built upon Special Edition. The current iteration of which is considered "1170".

Bear in mind that currently very few SKSE .dlls have been updated for 1170 as Todd continues to try and drive off the modding community.

the naming convention is that Special Edition is up to 1.5.97, and then Anniversary Edition is everything after (so currently the 1.6.1170).

As you are on AE 1.6.1170, there are a couple of things to note.

Please set Steam not to update Skyrim automatically - an update likely means a change to anything which has scripts, which can easily cause issues if you use a playthrough from prior to an update.

Please make certain you get mods for the right version of skyrim - anything with Limited Edition will be extremely risky until you have worked with Cathedral Asset Optimizer to update mods, and most mods have an AE/SE version.

you will need a base set of script tools (SKSE, papyrus, address library), for which you could try a nexus collection https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/xk05aw?tab=mods

or take a look at one of the guides. Aylis has a mod list, tasairis maintains an index of what has been updated to the latest version of skyrim in the compatibility tracker (which is titled SE but has the 1.6.1170 version active).

Whichever route, please start slow.

Get USSEP and Alternate Start - Live Another Life from Nexus. That will let you start in a quiet room rather than have to go through the Helgen cut scene.

Then get the SKSE and user interface and papyrus/address library/Fuz Ro D'oh in place.

If you use Aylis's guide, I'd follow the recommendations for the SKSE, UI, and SexLab sections. There's a lot of other sections, DynDolod isn't something to dive into without experience, and there's a lot of personal preference. DynDolod may be struggling with the latest version, which I've found means that some of the landscape texture mods in the list then have problems.

I'd make certain FNIS and OpenAnimationReplacer are working.

Test adding small groups of mods at a time, with a New Game each time.

For each new game, make a test character, just with defaults for race/face/body, and start in Breezehome. If people are moving around, and there's no objects that have turned purple, then consider adding more mods.
