a clone mod that allows animations to be performed "solo"?

I saw here in a completely unrelated mod a character performing an animation with a ghostly version of himself

I know that was very likely just another supernatual sim only to showcase the mod they made

but it did given me the idea of being a real mod, any chance something like that exists? or it could possibly be made?
