Alstier Posted January 21, 2024 Posted January 21, 2024 Hello there! I'm having a CTD when the main menu is about to load, and I cannot quite find what is causing it. On mod Organizer I have the following errors: Detected form 43's plugin (or lower) for several LL mods. I've had that for some time, and game used to work just fine. Missing masters for Open Cities Skyrim: Fish.esm, AdvDSGS.esm, SurvivalMode.esm, curios.esl. For what I've read, that happens when you downgrade the game back to 1.5.97 as I did and should work fine with the Unoficial patch. I'm attacking the crash logs from Crashlogger. I appreciate your time, thank you in advance crash-2024-01-21-22-15-21.logCrashLogger.log
traison Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 This crash is literally because of the missing masters. If you have a missing master plugin there's no other way around it other than fulfilling that discrepancy. Installing the unofficial patch does nothing in this regard.
Shonen17000 Posted January 22, 2024 Posted January 22, 2024 (edited) Install "backported extended esl support", https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 all those masters use the new file header, which the 1.5.97 engine can't load, which then explains the missing masters, BEES emulates the old file header to ensure compatibility, so by installing it and launching via skse, the game will work. But yes, its possible the game would still crash with a nearly identical crash log even after the missing masters were added - BEES would fix that issue like you said.
