This is a single player overhaul mod for Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
This mod is not using Reshade or any post-processing injector.

*Event scenes(intro, win) no longer use their own lighting

*Restored some unused voice lines
*Restored Virtua Fighter sound effects for throw and hold
*Removed delay for tag change voice
*Physics objects are now interactive with Power Launcher
*Fixed mass for physics objects

*Fixed numerous visual bugs
*Regenerated DLC files (You CAN'T use them if you didn't purchased them on Steam)


How to install

- Required tool
Latest version of lnk_reshuffle

- Base Mod
Open DOA5 VU Mod.7z and extract every folders and files into your game folder.
ex) steamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 5 Last Round\mod.config
ex2) steamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 5 Last Round\mods(folder)

- DLC Costumes
Open DOA5 VU Mod DLC.7z and extract every folders into your dlc folder.
ex) steamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dead or Alive 5 Last Round\DLC\352150...


Warning - IMPORTANT!
* VU Mod doesn't support Ultimate Content Set DLC. You must disable that DLC in Steam. or the other DLCs will be overwritten by Ultimate Content Set DLC. This usually happens in pirated and cracked game
* Playing online multiplayer with this mod is not recommended. Edited animations and moveset files can make your game disconnected.
* You can't use other mods that using Autolink and Lnk_Reshuffle with this mod (costume mods are ok)
* You can't use some DLCs properly without base mod.
Other info
* Glasses are disabled except Christie, Lisa and school uniform costumes
* Few models are not appear in some stages because of modding tool issues. it's not that much noticible
* This mod developed on Steam retail version of DOA5. I don't know any bugs cause of other versions.



FAQ

How do I know that the mod installed?
- There is no difference for interface. You better play the actual game. Or start Lnk_Reshuffle(start.bat) and check the files are red. Red mean is overwritten.
If you can find red files, then the mod installed properly.
*If you get an error message. just select "game.exe" in Lnk_Reshuffle

Is there Online Match Compatible version?
- I made it for VU mod before and I realized most of DOA5 players enjoying single player than online Matches. I recommend just play online matches without this mod.

Can I use this mod with other mods?
- You can still use costume mods that using AutoLink. But you can't if the mod using Lnk_Reshuffle.

Is this mod requiring high spec system?
- No, it's almost same as vanilla DOA5.

I don't see the difference.
- Try play the game with this mod 1 hour then play vanilla.

I can see the changes but the game still blurry.
- You need to enable Anisotropic Filtering(16x is max) in your graphics card control panel.

Can you make 60fps cutscenes?
- No, I tried to make 60fps cutscenes before but it mess up physics.

Can I use this mod for PS5 and Xbox version?
- This mod is only for PC(Steam). Come on, dude! you have definitive version of the game already!

Is soft engine in this mod?
- There is no console exclusive content in this mod.

Is this mod better than Gravure Studio(Beach Paradise) Mod?
- Both mods have completely different directions. Gravure Studio(GS) is focused on Gravure movie and watching girls. This mod is for improving DOA5 itself. like overall visuals and better gameplay experience. Sure, this mod makes the characters sexier but it just part of improving.

Quick question, if I want to remove the AA post processing to add one of my own, are these files below the ones related to it?

Just got into game to give a try against AI on arcade and solo match.

AI is great! I've been playing in Champ difficulty for a while and this new AI really "spiced" the game.

Sorry, I removed my almost every doa6 mods. because I have not enough cloud storage spaces. I no longer making doa6 mods so I have no that files too. even I forgot how to modding doa6 right now.

Anyway, the mod name has been changed from Overhaul Mod to VU Mod.
